Nova Lorraineis an award-winning fashion designer and futurist pioneering emotion-driven, digital-native couture. A Master's in Clinical Psychology and a Fashion Design degree from FIT shape work people don't just see, they feel.
The order of that training matters. She studied the mind before she studied the garment, and the House is built on what the first discipline taught her about the second: that clothing is emotional architecture. A coat can make its wearer feel unhurried, or protected, or unmistakably present in a room, and those effects come from volume, weight, and enclosure rather than from print or embellishment. It is why House of Nova silhouettes are sculptural, why the pieces are cut oversized by design, and why the House talks about how a piece makes you feel before it talks about what it is made of.
Her “Woven Dreams”presentation at New York Fashion Week took couture beyond the traditional runway: a collection about softness, protection, and memory, built from sculptural down outerwear where the volume is the silhouette. Several pieces from that show, among them the Lightning, Mist, and Stream coats, went on to anchor the House's permanent line. The next collection, Between Worlds, shows at New York Fashion Week on September 12, 2026.
She is the author of “The Jockey on the Horse” and “Unleash Your Supernova,” and hosts the podcasts AI for Creatives and Unleash Your Supernova.
Her stages span NFT.NYC, Paris Blockchain Week, SXSW, and Yale Blockchain Week, with guest lectures from Johns Hopkins to Hampton University.
Her work has appeared in Forbes, Essence, Vogue Italia, and The View. In 2024, she became the first impact fashion designer with a creation on the moon, via the Lunaprise Moon Museum project.

That same conviction produced Aurra, the House's personal AI stylist. Aurra exists because the question a stylist is really asked is psychological rather than commercial: not what is in stock, but what to wear to be taken seriously on Monday, or to feel like yourself at a wedding where you are not the bride. Aurra answers with one considered look and the reasoning behind it, styled to a person's proportions, palette, location, and occasion.

Nova Lorraine is an award-winning fashion designer, futurist, and the founder of House of Nova, the luxury fashion house behind Aurra the AI stylist. Why does a psychologist design clothes?
Because the training answers a question fashion usually skips: what a garment does to the person inside it.
